Beginners Pilates Course
The Beginners Course is for anyone with no or very little experience of Pilates. You will learn the fundamentals & principles of Pilates & work on improving your strength, flexibility and balance with good technique. The course is structured over six weeks to help you build a sound foundation of the exercises to enable you not only to progress your fitness and exercise to the next level, but also to start feeling the benefit in your daily life as we will be working on improving posture and movement. Class sizes are kept small to ensure you receive all the support you need to help you understand, practice and enjoy Pilates safely. A slower paced, low impact class which is particularly focused towards more mature exercisers & anyone wanting to take more time to hone their Pilates technique. We work specifically on improving posture, and on increasing core strength & stability. The classes will help to improve your balance, flexibility, coordination & circulation. Age is just a number: there is no minimum or maximum age for this class. Pilates Reformer Private Lesson
Work on your goals with a lesson plan & exercises tailored specifically to your needs and your body.
This class supports anyone recovering from and managing injuries, musculoskeletal disorders including osteoarthritis, hip and knee replacements, shoulder problems, rotator cuff injuries, low back pain, and inflammatory conditions including rheumatoid arthritis and gout. We focus on encouraging confidence with movement and assisting appropriate use of muscles. Exercises can be tailored to those managing osteoporosis. These specialist classes are kept to a maximum of 6 clients to ensure everyone receives the attention they need to practice safely and effectively. All About You (Private Lesson)
Private 1:1 Class (1hr) A chance to work on your specific goals, with a lesson plan tailored to your needs. If you have something in particular you would like to work on or feel that you would benefit from a session tailored to your specific needs you can book a private one-to-one or duet lesson. If you are completely new to Pilates a private one-to-one lesson is useful to help you understand the basic techniques and the key fundamentals of Pilates – you will use these throughout your Pilates journey even when you progress on to the advanced exercises.
