Before Class
Get Zoom-ready
You don't need a zoom account to join a class, you can just click on the zoom link in your welcome email, the link will also be sent in an automated class reminder email (sent 24hours in advance), or you can use the link above (under Class Details).
alternatively you can use the Zoom app, or goto zoom.us/join and enter the Meeting ID and password (find these in your welcome email, or above under Class Details).
We will use the same class link every week, so you can add the link as a reminder in your calendar and join straight from the appointment.
How To Set Up Your Space

Your Space
You will need a space big enough to roll out your mat and with
clear space around so that you can move safely.
- A workout space of 3m x 2.5m is ideal
- Clear the space of any items, and obstructions
- Keep pets and children out of your workout space whilst exercising
- Have your props ready
Attending the live classes:
- Locate your device 1.8m away from you.
- Place your device on on the floor, or slightly raised.
- Ensure that your camera is turned on, and that your body is 'in shot'.
Joining the Class
- Click the Zoom link a few minutes before class starts.
- When prompted, click “Join with Computer Audio” and allow Zoom to access your camera and microphone.
- You may see a message saying “Waiting for the host to start the meeting” - this is normal. Your teacher will let you in a couple of minutes before the class starts.
Tell the teacher of any injuries or medical conditions that may affect your ability to exercise.
During Class
Camera On: It helps me check your form and give personal guidance
Mute/Unmute: Keep yourself on mute during class so everyone can hear clearly. You can unmute if you have a question!
- To mute/unmute: On phone/tablet – tap the screen → mic icon
On laptop – bottom left corner
View Options: Choose Speaker View to focus on me (click the icon in the top right corner).
Tips for a Smooth Session
Set up your mat sideways to your camera so I can see your form side-on.
Use a laptop or tablet if possible – bigger screen = easier to follow!
Prop your screen up at floor level so you don’t have to crane your neck.
Turn off other devices/apps to improve internet speed.
If Zoom freezes or cuts out, just re-click the link to rejoin.
Always listen to your body.
Take the exercise layer or option that is suitable for you in terms of technical challenge, strength challenge and difficulty. Remember small steps = real progress.
Exercise should be performed at a pace which feels comfortable for you. You should never sacrifice form and always rest when needed. Pain is the body’s warning system and should not be ignored, so please inform your teacher immediately if you feel any discomfort during a session.
If you need a rest, take a break, reset and restart the exercise when you are ready.
Stay hydrated (have a water bottle handy).
After Class
The recording will be uploaded within 24 hours of the class, and available for 4 weeks.
Please bear in mind that although the teacher will demonstrate the exercises and give verbal cues, these are live class recordings and therefore, just like in a face-to-face class, the teacher will not always be visible doing the exercises on the recording.
Feel free to message me with questions or feedback.
